Rate Clerks are important members of the Operations and Logistics Department within companies. They are responsible for calculating freight rates and other charges for transportation services that are invoiced to customers. Rate Clerks typically work in a corporate office environment; however, some companies are moving to hybrid workplaces, where some Rate Clerks work from home on a part-time or full-time basis.
